Hasenmatt [1’444 m] is the culminating summit of the Weissenstein ridge and a real highlight of the Jura High Altitude Trail. In clear weather the views from Hasenmatt are superb, with the whole Swiss Plateau [Mittelland] laid out southwards and the spectacular alpine panorama lined up beyond.
