From Bettlachstock Mountain I walked another 6 kilometers eastwards to the village of Lommiswil and arrived shortly before sunset in its quarry. Lucky me!

0n a large, steeply rising limestone slab there are 313 footprints of gigantic plant-eating dinosaurs. The tracks are up to 1 m long and can be best seen from a viewing platform in the morning and towards the evening in oblique light. Information panels explain the history of their formation and provide interesting facts about the dinosaurs which left them there 145 million years ago.
