Three days ago I went hiking again in the Swiss Jura Mountains. From Basel [where I live] I travelled by train / bus / cable car [all short hops] to the trail head at the foot of Passwang Mountain (1’204 m). Not far from there, I captured today’s photograph.
The weather report had promised an interesting day with snow on the trail, dense fog at lower elevations and – occasionally – sunshine and good visibility above it.
