The Passwang is a mountain ridge in the Canton Solothurn. It has a length of 22 kilometers and runs west-to-east. The Passwand has several peaks; the ‘Vogelberg’ is the highest with 1’204 meters above sea level. On clear days the vistas from there are awesome, with the whole Swiss Plateau (Mittelland) laid out southwards and the spectacular alpine panorama lined up beyond.
