Egyptian Geese (Alopochen aegyptiaca) (3)

Egyptian geese measure about 70 cm in length including the tail. The upper plumage varies from reddish- to grey-brown. The black ends of the wings have iridescent green wing patches. Egyptian Geese have brown eye patches encircling each eye. The eyes are orange and the beak is pinkish, with a black tip, black nostrils and black edges. The legs and feet are pinkish, turning redder when in breeding condition.
