Tommasini’s Crocuses (Crocus tommasinianus) (3)

There are about 30 different species of crocus that are raised commercially. Other than the giant Dutch crocuses [spring crocuses], probably the three most commonly available species are Crocus chrysanthus [snow crocus], Crocus sieberi [Cretan crocus], and Crocus tommasinianus [woodland crocus].
