This is my favorite stall of the Christmas market on ‘Münsterplatz’ in Old Town Basel. Taking photographs there is difficult and a real challenge. This is especially true after nightfall. The alleys between the wooden stalls are very narrow and most often alive with people. The differences in light intensity are usually quite extreme from dark shadows to bright spotlights highlighting the wares. Thus, only a few of my photographs taken there are presentable.
