At the Fog Line in the Swiss Jura (7)

In Gänsbrunnen the weather was autumn-like. The fog was heavy and, thus, the vistas very limited.

In stark contrast, on Hasenmatt it was winterish with powdery snow about 40 cm high. The temperature was below zero. On Hasenmatt summit I was above the fog. The sky was deep blue and the vistas in all directions fantastic.

The photo was taken during my ascent to Hasenmatt summit. I was about 1’250 m above sea level, when the fog above me suddenly vanished and the sky turned blue.
