Garden Chrysanthemums (Chrysanthemum grandiflorum ‘Wuilliens’) (1)

Chrysanthemums originally come from Asia. They have been cultivated in China and Japan for more than 1500 years. The first chrysanthemums came to Europe in the 17th century.

Garden chrysanthemums have an upright, slightly woody habit. This variety forms double flowers in red, salmon and mother-of-pearl and grows to a height of 1.5 m. Garden chrysanthemums flower from August to November, and sometimes even longer. They are also known as winter asters, are perennial and frost-resistant.
