Stoll Tower in Münchenstein (1)

Embedded in attractive parkland, the Stoll Tower is the highest building in Münchenstein, a municipality in the district of Arlesheim in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The thirteen-storied building is 40 meters tall.

The construction of the high-rise took 30 months. Twenty-six apartments of varying sizes were ready for occupation in spring 2016. Architect and building contractor was Rolf Stalder from Münchenstein.

The form of the Stoll Tower is, like the Meret Oppenheim Tower in Basel, the result of stacking cuboids of different sizes. Thus, the resulting 26 apartments are all architecturally different. They also offer distinct views into the mostly green surroundings. Basel’s large city park ‘Grün 80’ is close by.
