With a height of 80 m, ‘Around the World XXL’ is one of the tallest, transportable flying swings of the world. The motion of ‘Around the World XXL’ is similar to a chair-o-plane type of ride that has been around for decades, except with one difference – altitude.
”Around the World XXL’ spins like a normal chair-o-plane but also races up to a height of 80 meters as it is spinning! Then the customers are treated to a series of ups and downs as they spin. This is a truly exhilarating experience with beautiful panoramic vistas above the city!
The swing carousel and the seats are illuminated at dark, leading to interesting light trails in long time exposures. The outer circular light trails in today’s image were generated by the lights at the flying swing seats. ‘Around the World XXL’ is located on Basel’s Messeplatz.
