Thrill rides flip you, spin you, twirl you, drop you and toss you. Some spin to the point where you can hardly stand when you get off. Others flip you upside down over and over and over again. And a few drop you, leaving you with nothing but butterflies in your stomach.
Whatever the kind, thrill rides are a staple at amusement and theme parks worldwide. They are also an icon of nearly every fair and carnival. Sure enough, you also find thrill rides at the Basel Autumn Fair.
