This is the same owlet moth as shown in the previous three posts. This time, I photographed its ‘face’.
To me the face reminds me of ‘Furby’, an American electronic robotic toy by Tiger Electronics. Originally released in 1998, it resembles a hamster or owl-like creature, which once was a “must-have” toy. My kids loved their Furby, which still exists today. (It may need a new battery).
But why should the face of an owlet moth look like a hamster or an owl-like creature?
