Golden Crocus (Crocus chrysanthus) (3)

Crocus chrysanthus is native from Greece to Bulgaria and Turkey. ‘Snow crocus’, its common name, derives from its exceptionally early flowering period, often emerging through the snow in late winter or early spring. Flowers have a mild honey fragrance. Leaves are narrow with a silver central stripe.
