Those of you who are familiar with my old photoblog know that I am fond of flea markets. At Saturdays, when time and weather permits, I love to stroll over Basel’s flea market at Petersplatz with my camera at hand.
At one of the stalls I recently saw these colorful bead chains and immediately had the notion that they are perfect subjects for an interesting flea market shot. I asked the stall owner for her permission to photograph her commodities (I usually do). She laughed and agreed cheerfully. Thank you!
