Daybreak in the Petite Camargue (5)

Located in the center of the nature reserve is an ancient fish farm with buildings dated 1853 and numerous ponds. In those times, the fish farm was used to breed fish for reintroduction into the streams of Europe and overseas.

Nowadays, the fish farm still produces salmons for reintroduction into the Rhine. The old buildings house a small museum and a research station, among others.
