Carthusian Pink (Dianthus carthusianorum) (1)

Carthusian pink, also known as clusterhead pink, is an herbaceous perennial growing up to 60 centimeters tall. It is native to Europe, from Belgium to Spain, and east to Ukraine.

Carthusian pink sprouts tufts of grey-green, grass-like leaves, above which, from early to late summer, it bears clusters of delicate, magenta scented flowers on upright, wiry stems. The leaves are up to 70 millimeters long and 5 millimeters broad. The flowers are 18–20 millimeters wide.
