The following newspaper clipping describes the creation of spray can paintings on the outer walls of the meat processing plant ‘Bell’.
“From August 20 to 30, 2020, our event «Change of Colours” took place at the site of Bell Switzerland at Neudorfstrasse in Basel. The event resulted in the largest mural of Switzerland. On a surface of 800 m2, the internationally renowned artists @mrcenzone (GB), @artofbust (CH) sowie @chromeo_paintings and @bane.cn (CH) created three murals of extraordinary quality. 30 more artists then painted the lower walls of the Bell site, resulting in a total of 1800m2 of newly embellished surface.
We would like to thank Bell Switzerland for the generous support. Without their allocation of the many walls, the event would not have been possible. Thank you to the artists for the good collaboration. The big murals were painted with lifts by @graeber_arbeitsbuehnen and dispersion paint by Ribi Malergeschäft AG.
