Hiking to the top takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. The way down isn’t any easier – it really is steep in places and slippery when wet. For hiking the Large Mythen you have to be fit, have a head for heights and wear good hiking boots. And – keep in mind – on the whole trail there is only one official place for a rest: a stone bench at hairpin turn 29.
