I was the first hiker who used the Wasserfallen cable car on that day. I had it all for myself. From the gondola I could see that the trees on the mountains surrounding me were white. However, I could not decide whether they were covered with snow or hoarfrost. During my ascent from the upper cable car station to the Passwang mountain ridge I found out that it was largely long needles of hoarfrost. Only a few centimeters of snow covered the ground.
