Close to Vogelberg summit the weather got nasty. Through the ravine in the left side of my image, fog and hoarfrost were sucked up from the valleys below. Alternating in rapid succession, the naked trees along the ridge were clearly visible or shrouded in clouds of ice crystals and haze.
The view of the Alps was completely obscured all the time. Well – I enjoyed standing on top of my world anyhow. At least I climbed up to here all by myself!
