Yesterday was a cold, grey day. Nonetheless, I took a walk through one of my favorite city parks and looked for traces of spring. Luckily, I found a few.
I also discovered two fly-like creatures, about 12 mm long, on the handrail of a footbridge over a small pond. They looked interesting and a bit strange. And because there was nothing else to photograph, I captured them with a macro lens from different angles and sites.
Only later at home, at my computer for image processing, I was amazed by what I had captured. But see for yourself.
